Abstract

A study of the sensitivity of the terrestrial climate with respect to change in solar for preparing constant is performed using a seasonal, two layer energy-balance model. The latitudinal and seasonal distributions of sensitivity are found to be in general agreement with results of previous investigations.  In particular, Robock's (1983) recent hypothesis of the dominance of the sea ice-thermal inertia feed-back in determining the seasonal sensitivities is confirmed.
