Structure of tropical cyclones in the Bay of Bengal

. Inferences on the typical core structure and wind and rainfall distribution of tropical cyclones (TCs) of the Bay of Bengal derived from studies of coastal radar data and satellite imagery are presented in the paper and compared with findings from other oceanic basins. The Implications of these findings In the context of operational forecasting and now castling are also discussed.
