Abstract

Important aerodynamic characteristics such as exchange of momentum, aerodynamic resistance, eddy diffusivity dissipation of energy and eddy sizes evaluated over wheat crop canopy and bare soil surface are presented. The turbulence features over cropped surface significantly affected the size of eddies and transfer of momentum which in turn affected the evapotranspiration and crop growth.
