Abstract

A simple technique of utilising the thickness patterns to assess qualitatively the field of divergence or convergence by determining the tilt of the axis of the pressure system has been presented in this note. The utility of this technique has been discussed and Illustrated by analysing one pre-monsoon storm, in the light, of the above Ideas.
