Cyclone movement

Utility of (1) isallobaric gradient from the storm centre and (2) warm advection in the lower troposphere in the storm field in guiding the direction of movement of two cyclonic storms in October and November 1971, when they were out at sea over the Bay of Bengal, is illustrated in this paper.
