A review of the performance of the Indian radiosonde consequent to change in the thermistor characteristics in February 1980

An attempt has been made to investigate the significant effect on the reliability of upper air temperatures over the radiosonde stations in India, consequent to the introduction of quality control standardisation measures in the thermistors. It is found that there has been no significant change in the performance of the radiosonde.
