Over these regions about 500 eal/cm2 are received daily during the major part of a year. During monsoon and winter seasons, global radiation drops to about 300.400 eal/cm2 per day. The article discusses in detail the distribution of the duration of sunshine and the daily and hourly distribution of global radiation over these areas.
